Welcome back to another episode of the Homegrown Liberty Podcast, this is episode 33. We’ve got a whole new style of episode here for you today. And this time you’re going to get to listen in on an actual phone consultation, I have a couple joining us today to talk about their property and I didn’t even know what all we were going to be talking about! We have Beau and Ashley who have a 5 acre piece of property and are in year 1 of development! So we have some foundational concerns and issues to sort out and find solutions for.  In this first segment of the conversation, we mostly get acquainted with their property, talk a little bit of their history on the place and learn some about their experience level. We talk about setting priorities and focusing on how to get the most return for the least effort and how to build soil in their garden beds as well as how to time that work correctly. That episode flew by, but don’t worry, we continue our conversation next week! I have a lot of preparation to do the next few weeks. And I’m gearing up for a lot of travel starting possibly next week. I might be headed down to Baton Rouge, but that depends on flood conditions. I hope the waters have receded by then but we’ll just have to see if it’s possible. And if not then I’ll be headed from Saline, Louisiana, to St. Louis, Missouri, and then possibly out to the Nashville area before heading back home. So I’ll be covering a lot of ground! And like I said, if you’ve been wanting to get me to do some consulting on the ground on your property, my schedule is slap full starting November all through the winter and into spring. There’s a slight chance openings might happen every once in a while, but don’t count on that happening. I’ll be around the DFW area the last week of October as well. That about wraps up my news and info for this week. Tune in next week where we get into the second part of the consultation with Beau and Ashley where we talk about how to combat fire ants, homemade ant killer recipes, raising rabbits for your homestead and tactics for feeding livestock guardian dogs.
